Highlights on CBSE Board Exams 2021:
CBSE has recently issued a notification thereby allowing the students of Class 10 and 12 to change their examination centres. The last date to apply for the change is 25th March 2021.
Mumbai: CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has recently issued a circular on its official website in which it has permitted the students to change the exam centre for the upcoming Class 10 and 12 Board exams 2021. CBSE Board took this decision in view of the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
Owing to the pandemic, many families shifted to another place and thus, some students are unable to appear in the theory and practical exams from their previous centres. The last date for sending the requests by the students is 25th March 2021. However, the schools need to update the status of the same by 31st March 2021.
The CBSE Boards are scheduled to be held from 4th May to 11th June 2021.
The official notification read, “It has come to the notice of the board that because of COVID pandemic, some students of Class 10 and 12 along with their families have shifted to some other city/ country and therefore, they are unable to appear for the practical examination/ theory examination from the examination centre from where the students are registered for board examinations.”
In order to request the exam centre change, the students need to have the roll number mandatorily. They need to contact their respective schools to request a change in the examination centre and also inform them of the new centre choice. They can choose only one city for both theory and practical exams.
