CBSE Board Class 10 and 12 exams postponed, check details here

Highlights for CBSE Class 10 and 12 exams:
- With the coronavirus outbreak, the CBSE board has released a notification that all CBSE class 10 and 12 exams, NIOS and university exams will be postponed until March 31st
- The revised dates haven’t been announced yet. Evaluation of answer books have been shut down too
- JEE Main exam is postponed as well with no revised date yet
While coronavirus has taken the whole world by a storm, the Central Board of Secondary Education announced that the Class 10 and 12 exams of this year have been postponed until March 31st. This decision came in as a safety measure in light of the health scare running across the nation with the spread of a pandemic. This official notification came after MHRD issued a notification asking CBSE board to cancel all board exams, NIOS and university exams.
CBSE Postponed exams after MHRD notification
MHRD released a circular that read: “All ongoing examinations, including that of CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) & university exams, may be rescheduled after March 31: Ministry of Human Resource Development.” All exams will now be held only after March 31st. This year, the HRD ministry also added that the authorities evaluating answer books should stop their work and resume only after March 31st.

JEE Main Exam postponed as well
The MHRD also notified that since CBSE exams will be held only after March 31st, that will clash dates with JEE Main exam that’s set in April. Candidates often travel to get to their centres for JEE Main and during the outbreak of a pandemic, the ministry just cannot take that risk. So, JEE Main will be postponed and dates for the same are also not released yet. Keep watching this space to find out the revised dates of your exams.
