CBSE releases new marking scheme for Class 12 Economics

Mumbai, Maharashtra: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the new Marking Scheme and Sample Paper for Class 12 Economics. Students can understand the new exam pattern level of questions in the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam (Economics) by using this sample paper and marking scheme.

According to the notification, here are some points that the students need to know:

1. There are two sections in the Class 12 Economics paper – Section A: Macro Economics and Section B: Indian Economic Development

2. All questions are compulsory. Every question specifies the marks allotted

3. The questions that require short answers and carry one mark each are – question number 1-10 and 18-27. Candidates need to answer these questions in maximum one sentence

4. The questions that require maximum 60-80 word answers and carry three marks each are – question number 11, 12, 28, and 29

5. The questions that require maximum 80-100 word answers and carry three marks each are – question number 13-15 and 30-32 

6. The questions that require long answers and carry six marks each are – question number 16, 17, 33, and 34. Candidates need to answer these questions in around 150 words

7. Candidates must adhere to the word limit as specified above
