Chhattisgarh Board 2021: Class 10 exams cancelled while Class 12 exams postponed amid COVID-19 surge

Chhattisgarh Board Class 10th Board Exams 2021 have been cancelled amid the second wave of coronavirus. However, the board has decided to postpone the Class 12th board exams until any further notice.
Mumbai: CGBSE Class 10th exams have been cancelled by the Chhattisgarh board due to the spike in coronavirus cases during the second wave. The Board has, however, postponed the Class 12th Board exams until the situation normalizes. The second wave has hit the nation badly and keeping this situation in mind the Chhattisgarh board took this decision.
Previously, the Chhattisgarh Board Class 10 exams were scheduled to be conducted from 15th April to 1st May 2021. While the Class 12 exams were scheduled to be held from 3rd to 24th May 2021. The Chhattisgarh board also announced that the students of Class 10th shall be promoted to Class 11th on the basis of their internal assignments. However, students who are not satisfied with this evaluation criteria, and the allotted marks, can appear for the special examination.
Bhupesh Baghe, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, announced today that CGBSE, Raipur has cancelled the Class 10 exams, in view of the current situation of the Corona epidemic.
The revised exam dates for Class 12th will be issued by the Chhattisgarh Board once the pandemic situation normalizes. The students are thus advised to regularly check the official website of the Chhattisgarh Board for the latest news, updates and announcements related to the Class 10th and 12th Exams.
