CLAT 2021 Application process shall start on 1st January 2021 formally on the official website. The last date for registration is 31st March 2021. The CLAT 2021 exam is scheduled to be held on 9th May 2021.

Mumbai: According to the official notification issued by the Consortium of National Law Universities, it will formally begin the CLAT 2021 application process from today i.e. 1st January 2021 on its official website.

The online application window will remain open until 31st March 2021. The CLAT 2021 exam is scheduled to be held on 9th May 2021. It will be conducted from 3 PM to 5 PM in the afternoon shift.

Interested candidates can apply for the registration for CLAT 2021 exam online at the official website. Alternatively, they can conclude their registration process via the direct link.

The official notification also mentions the eligibility criteria for the CLAT 2021 exams. For undergraduate-level law courses (5 Year Integrated Law Degree), aspirants are required to clear their Class 12 Board exams. The minimum percentage for General / OBC / PWD / NRI / PIO / OCI categories is 45% while for SC/ST Categories it is 40%. Candidates who are to appear for Class 12 board exams in March / April/ May 2021 are also eligible to apply for CLAT UG 2021.

For postgraduate level law courses (1 Year LLM Degree), aspirants require an LLB Degree. The minimum percentage marks for General / OBC / PWD / NRI / PIO / OCI categories is 50% while it is 45% for SC/ST Categories. Candidates who are to appear for qualifying exams in March / April 2021 are also eligible to apply for CLAT PG 2021.

CLAT (Common Law Aptitude Test) 2021 is an entrance test for admission to 22 National Law Universities of India. It is a screening mechanism for admission to BA LLB, B Sc LLB, BBA LLB, B Com LLB, BSW LLB, and LLM programmes.
