Highlights on CLAT 2021:
CLAT 2021 is postponed by CNLU in order to avoid the clash with the CBSE Board exams. The revised date for CLAT 2021 is 13th June 2021.
Mumbai: As per the latest reports, the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) has postponed the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) 2021 Exam to 13th June 2021 so as to avoid the clash with CBSE exams. Earlier, the CLAT 2021 exam was scheduled to be held on 9th May 2021.
The Consortium’s Executive Committee meeting was held on 6th January 2021 in which the decision regarding the postponement of CLAT 2021 was taken. The CLAT 2021 was postponed so that the dates do not clash with the CBSE Board Exam. it will now be held on 13th May 2021, Sunday from 2 PM to 4 PM. As per the notification, CLAT UG 2021 and LLM Entrance Exam will now be conducted on 13th May 2021.
The application process for appearing in the CLAT 2021 has already started and is underway. The candidates need to clear their Class 12 Board exam with a minimum of 45% for general category and 40% for Reserved Categories, for being eligible to appear in CLAT UG 2021. Similarly, the candidates need to clear their Degree or equivalent qualifying exams with minimum 50% marks for general category and 45% for Reserved Categories, for being eligible to appear in CLAT PG 2021 i.e. LLM Entrance Exam.
The consortium can reject the application of any applicant on finding any discrepancy related to the minimum eligibility criteria at any stage of the screening process.
