Mumbai, Maharashtra: To facilitate trouble-free registration of aspirants for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination (NEET) special centers have been established in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. In addition, these centers were opened so that interested candidates can get their documents registered and verified.
These steps were taken because sending out of the forms on time became difficult. So, these cyber centers and facilitation centers help them to get registered on time for the NEET 2020.
Besides, an official spokesman said that eleven more centers have been established to ease candidate’s registration.
For technical assistance, each center has an official from the National Informatics Center (NIC) who will assist the aspirants in submitting their examination form. Moreover, the technical team of the host institutions will also be available to supervise the operation at these centers.
From Wednesday seven cyber centers would open for users. While the other four were available from Thursday. The Deputy Commissioner of Srinagar, Shahid Iqbal Chaudhry inspected numerous of these centers.
After the inspection, he said, “Each of these centers will have a register for users to note their experiences about the service offered o them. The feedback will be used to improve the services wherever required.” The commissioner also informed that each center is well equipped to take care of all parts of the form submission process, which also includes the one time passwords for verification and online exam fee submission.
