Highlights of GATE Results 2020
- GATE 2020 results are out. Notification states 18.8% of the appeared candidates are actually qualified

March 13th, 2020: IIT Delhi released GATE 2020 results today and the students are streaming on the website constantly to find the link that is yet to be released. If you are waiting for your GATE results too, check out their GATE official website. The GATE exam was held on 1,2,8 and 9 February this year. Soon after in February, the question paper and answer key of the exam were released too.
The link that contains the actual results is yet to go live on the official website of GATE. Out of the 8.5 lakh students that registered for the exam, 6.8 lakh students actually appeared for it this year. The official notification states that from the pool that appeared for the exam, 18.8% actually qualified for the course.
Here’s what the notification reads: “IIT Delhi is the organizing institute for GATE 2020 examination. Out of 858890 registered candidates in 25 papers, 685088 candidates (79.76%) appeared in the examination and around 18.8% candidates qualified in GATE 2020. The result of GATE 2020. The result of GATE 2020 is declared today (March 13, 2020) at 2:30 pm and is available on the GATE website http://appsgate.iitd.ac.in.”
