Haryana Board 2021: Class 10 exams cancelled while Class 12 exams postponed

Highlights on Haryana Board 2021:

Class 10^th Board Exams have been cancelled by Haryana Board while Class 12^th Board exams have been postponed due to the surge in COVID-19 cases.

Mumbai: Following CBSE, the Haryana government has also cancelled Class 10^th Board exams 2021 and postponed Class 12^th Board exams 2021. The Haryana government took this decision due to the rising coronavirus cases in the state.

Kanwar Pal Gujjar, Haryana Education Minister said that the Haryana Board Class 10^th students will be promoted on the basis of internal assessment and practical examination in a manner similar to that followed by CBSE. He also said that Class 12^th exams have been postponed for now, and the decision regarding the new dates will be taken once the situation normalizes.

Previously, Haryana Board Class 12^th Exams 2021 were to be held from 20^th April to 17^th May 2021. On 12^th April, BSEH (Board of Secondary Education Haryana) had already issued the Admit card for Class 12^th, which could be downloaded only by the school authorities. The students were required to collect it from their schools.

When the new exam dates for Class 12 exams are announced and Admit cards released, the students will need to carry them with them to the exam hall.
