The Haryana State government announces to reopen the colleges and the universities from 16th November 2020 onwards. These higher education institutions are allowed to open for conducting doubt solving sessions for the benefit of the students. The social distancing guidelines need to be adhered to.
Mumbai: From 16th November onwards, the colleges and universities in the Haryana state are all set to reopen. These institutions include government colleges, government-aided colleges, private colleges, and universities. The decision to reopen these higher education institutions is taken for the benefit of the students.
However, they will be allowed to open only for the doubt solving sessions and adhering to the social distancing guidelines. The state government has issued strict guidelines as well as the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in order to ensure that the students are safe in the campus. The students need to wear masks and follow social distancing as per the COVID guidelines.

They can visit the colleges to get their doubts solved by the teachers. Also, the Haryana State government has allowed the students of Class 9 to Class 12 to visit their schools and get their doubts solved by the teachers.
The state government has allowed only schools that fall in the non-containment zones to reopen. Also, only the teachers and the students who reside in the non-containment zones can visit the school.
Several states such as Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, and Tamil Nadu have announced the reopening of the schools and colleges from November 2020 onwards. However, all the schools and colleges need to strictly adhere to the Covid-19 guidelines before reopening them.
