ICAI CA FOUNDATION EXAM 2020: CA Foundation Paper I have been postponed to 13th December 2020

Highlights:
ICAI has issued a notification regarding the postponement of CA Foundation Paper I which will now be held on 13th December 2020 from 2 pm to 5 pm. However, the admit cards issued earlier shall remain valid for the postponed paper. It has also earlier issued a notification stating the shifting of the Exam centres in Kerala due to the local elections in the state.
Mumbai: ICAI (The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) has issued a notification on its official website postponing the CA Foundation Paper I exam which was to be held on 8th December 2020. The CA Foundation Paper I examination will now be conducted on 13th December 2020 from 2 pm to 5 pm. However, the schedule of all the other papers will remain the same as earlier.

As per the notification, though the CA Foundation Paper I has been postponed, the admit cards issued earlier shall remain valid for the postponed exam as well. In other words, the institute shall not issue any new admit card for the postponed paper and the students will be allowed entry into the examination hall with the admit cards issued earlier.
ICAI has also issued another notification stating that it has shifted 15 Exam centres in Kerala State as the examination schedule clashed with the local election schedule in the state.
ICAI announced this on Twitter. Some exam centres are shifted for all the papers which some are shifted only for a couple of papers.
