ICAR NET 2019 to be conducted on 8 January 2020 to 10 January 2020 following the original schedule. A circular by the Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board state exam on 8 January may get postponed to 11 January 2020, only in case of ‘any unforeseen situation’. It further clarified examination venue, slot and timing will remain the same.

ICAR NET 2019: The ICAR NET 2019 conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research will be held as per the original schedule, i.e. tomorrow. In a notice distributed by the Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board, they have mentioned that the exam may be postponed to January 11, 2020, if there is a case of any unforeseen situation on January 8. 2020. However, the schedule for January 9 and 10 will remain unchanged.

This notification came following the case of the nation-wide strike “to protest against the anti-labor policies” of the government, which is expected to be held on January 8, 2020, by various trade unions. The circular has clarified only the examination on January 8th might get postponed and the January 9 and 10 exam slots will remain unchanged.

ICAR NET 2019 examination will be held in computer-based mode. It has a total of 150 marks and will be held throughout 32 exam centers. If you are appearing for the exam and have not yet downloaded the admit card, it is advised to do it now. Visit the official website at asrb.org.in and download it from there. You will require your registration number and date of birth in order to download your admit card for ICAR NET 2019.

All the candidates taking the exam must carry a copy of their admit card to the examination center. Entry without admit card won’t be granted in any case whatsoever. You will also be required to carry a valid ID proof to get entry.
