IIT JAM 2021: Online Application correction window opens until 10th November

The IISc, Bengaluru opens the online application correction window for the candidates appearing in the IIT JAM, Joint Admission Test for Masters 2021. The window will remain open until 10th November. The process is free of charge but candidates adding an extra test paper or changing their gender, category and PWD status will have to pay a certain amount of fee.

Mumbai: Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru opens the Application correction window for the IIT JAM, Joint Admission Test for Masters 2021. The candidates can make changes and corrections in the application form until 10th November 2020 online via JOAPS portal.

Only the candidates who have been already registered can make changes or corrections in the application form and no new applications are being accepted. This is a one-time facility provided to the candidates to ensure that there remains no discrepancy in the official documents.

The candidates can change the city preference free of charge. However, they will have to pay a certain amount of fee on changing their gender, category and PWD status or on adding an extra test paper. They can pay the additional fee using net banking, credit card or debit card.

The last date of submitting the applications was 17th October 2020. The application fee was Rs.1050 for the female, SC, ST and PwD candidates. For the other categories, it was Rs 2100. The IIT JAM admit card will be out on 5th January 2021.

For making the changes and corrections, the candidates need to visit the https://joaps.iisc.ac.in/. They can log in using their email ID or Enrolment ID and password. They can make the necessary corrections and changes in the application form and pay the required fees. After this, they can verify and submit the revised application form.
