IIT JEE 2021: Tamil Nadu government announces to provide online training to IIT JEE candidates

Highlights on IIT JEE 2021:
The Tamil Nadu government has signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Nextgen Vidya Pvt Ltd. for providing free online training to the candidates of government and government-aided schools for appearing in the IIT JEE Mains 2021.
Mumbai: Tamil Nadu state government will be providing online training to the government and government-aided schools candidates who wish to appear for the IIT JEE 2021 exams in the state. It has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a private firm in this respect.
Earlier, the Tamil Nadu government had signed an MOU with NEET Coaching centres for the government and government-aided schools students who were aspiring to get admissions in the medical branches.
For the IIT JEE 2021, the Tamil Nadu state government has signed the MOU with Nextgen Vidya Pvt Ltd. which will train the candidates online for free. The aspirants appearing for the IIT JEE 2021 can register for the training. The registration process will begin on 21st December 2020 and the last date is 31st December 2020.
The free online training will begin from 4th January 2021 for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The candidates will also be given a unique Login ID and Password. However, the teachers, district coordinators, and headmasters will also be provided access to monitor the performance of the students.
The MOU between Nextgen Vidya Pvt Ltd. and the Tamil Nadu government was signed in the presence of KA Sengottaiyan, School Education Minister.
Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, the Union Education Minister, announced the exam dates for the February 2021 attempt on 16th December 2020 via Twitter live. IIT JEE Mains will now be held four times a year, in February, March, April and May. The exam dates for the February Attempt of IIT JEE Mains is from 23rd February to 26th February 2021.
