JEE Advanced 2021: Union Education Minister will announce Exam Dates and No. of Attempts on 7th January 2021

Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Union Education Minister likely to announce the exam dates, eligibility criteria, and confirm the number of attempts for JEE Advanced Exam 2021 on 7th January 2021 via his Twitter handle.
Mumbai: As per the latest reports, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Union Education Minister will declare the JEE Advanced 2021 Exam Dates, Eligibility Criteria, Number of Attempts, and other details on 7th January 2021. He shall address the JEE Advanced 2021 aspirants at 6 PM on 7th January i.e. Thursday via his Twitter handle.
Mr. Pokhriyal tweeted from his official account and confirmed the news. The Tweet read, “I will announce the eligibility criteria for admission in #IITs & the date of #JEE Advanced on 7th Jan at 6 PM.”
The Union Education Minister is likely to announce important details such as exam dates, eligibility criteria, number of attempts available, etc. about the IIT JEE Advanced Exam 2021. It is expected that the eligibility criteria for the JEE Advanced Exam 2021 may be relaxed due to the prevailing COVID situation across the country. The pandemic has also caused a delay in the CBSE and other State board examinations which may also be a reason for the relaxation.
The JEE Advanced candidates had also requested him to increase the number of attempts. The students whose last year to try for JEE Advanced was 2020 are also hoping for an additional attempt.
In a webinar earlier, the Education Minister had announced that the number of attempts will be increased to four, the examination will be held in over 13 regional languages, optional questions will be asked and also the reduction in the exam syllabus.
