JEE Main News: JEE Main 2020 Answer Key has been released. Aspirants can raise objections against the answer key till September 10 up to 10 a.m. NTA is charging a processing fee of Rs 200 for each answer challenged.
Mumbai, Maharashtra: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the answer keys for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for the April/September 2020 session. Aspirants have been allowed to raise objections against the provisional answer key till September 10.
Students can visit the official website of NTA- jeemain.nta.nic.in to check the details of raising objections and the format plus relevant documents required for the same. NTA will charge a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 as processing fee for each answer challenged.
The answer keys for the JEE Mains 2020 exam were released on 8 September 2020. Students will be allowed to raise objections against the provisional answer key till 10 a.m. only on 10 September. The payment of the fees can be done till 5 p.m. on 10 September.
The process fees are non-refundable, even if the challenge turns out to be correct. Moreover, they won’t accept any challenges without a proper receipt of the processing fee. After NTA is done processing all the challenges to the answer key, the JEE Main answer key will be released along with the results and the cut-off for JEE Main 2020.
NTA conducted JEE Mains from 1 to 6 September. It was held in two shifts every day and around 8,58,273 students registered for the exam in 2020. The result for JEE Main 2020 is expected to be released on September 11, 2020.
Data released by the Ministry of Education on 4 September states that around 1,15,000 students were not able to appear for the JEE Mains exam in the first three days. The reason behind this was COVID-19. The fear of contracting the coronavirus amongst students was quite prevalent.
