Highlights of JEE Main Paper 2
JEE Main Paper 2 has been conducted on January 6, 2020, between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm. In this article, we will see JEE Main Paper 2 Analysis. Overall, the paper had a ‘Moderate’ difficulty-level. Mathematics was the most difficult section.
JEE Main Paper 2 Analysis: The National Testing Agency or NTA has completed the first session of the JEE Main 2020 Paper 2 examination on January 6, 2020, between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm. Hundreds of students took the exam for admissions to planning and architecture courses across the country. While most students found the paper to be moderately difficult, Mathematics was the toughest section.
According to a report by the Times of India, 138409 students appeared for the B.Arch exam at 345 centers and 59003 students took the B. Planning exam at 327 centers. In order to avoid any unfair practices during the examination, authorities ensured that all centers were under CCTV surveillance and equipped with signal jammers.
JEE Main Paper 2 Pattern
B. Arch – Two sections in the online or CBT (Computer Based Test) mode: Mathematics (Part I) and Aptitude Test (Part II). The Drawing Test (Part III) was conducted in an offline mode.
B. Planning – The entire exam was conducted in an online or CBT (Computer Based Test) mode: Mathematics (Part I), Aptitude Test (Part II), and Planning (Part III).
Candidates who took the B. Arch exam said that Mathematics was the most difficult section followed by the drawing test. The Aptitude test (Part II) was the easiest section. Students found the Mathematics section difficult because most of the questions asked in the exam were from Class XI Mathematics textbook on topics like binomial, calculus, permutations and combinations, etc. Overall, students found Paper 2 to have an averagely difficult level, especially in Part I.
