Highlights of KCET

Time Table announced for Karnataka’s Common Entrance Test (KCET). The online process to begin in February. Candidates who qualify to get admission for engineering and medicine studies courses.

KCET: The time table for the state Common Entrance Test (CET) 2020 was released by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). From April 22 to 24, the Karnataka CET 2020 will be held, in two shifts.

in February, when the online registration process begins, those aspiring to pursue engineering or medicine and want to appear for the entrance examination will have the opportunity to register on the official website (kea.kar.nic.in).

Qualifying the KCET will make candidates eligible for admission to various colleges and institutions for higher studies in engineering, AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani and Homoeopathy), medicine and dentistry, technology, farm science, pharmacy, architecture, and many other professional courses and may enroll for the academic session that begins in 2020.

Here is the time table for the Karnataka Combined Entrance Test 2020:

On April 22, the Biology exam will be held between 10.30 am and 11.50 am. The Maths exam will be on the same day from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm.

On April 23, the Physics exam will be conducted from 10:30 am to 11:50 am and the Chemistry test from 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm.

On April 24, Kannada language paper will be held from 10:30 am to 11:50 am.

Those aspiring for medical and dental sciences studies must also clear the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) 2020, while candidates for architecture must appear for the Joint Entrance Exam or the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).

For medical and dental candidates, it is essential that they also clear the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 held by the Central Board Secondary Education (CBSE). The architecture aspirants will be required to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) paper 2 or the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) held by the Council of Architecture.
