Kerala Board 2021: Education department postpones the Higher secondary and vocational practical exams

Highlights on Kerala Board Exams 2021:
Kerala Board Higher Secondary (Class 12th) and Vocational practical exams 2021 have been postponed due to the COVID-19 surge by the General Education Department, Kerala.
Mumbai: The General Education Department, Kerala has postponed the Higher Secondary (Class 12th) and Vocational practical exams in the state due to spike in COVID-19 cases. These exams were scheduled to begin on 28th April 2021. The Education Department shall announce the new dates of the exam once the situation normalizes.
Thus, students are advised to keep a check on the official website of the Kerala Board for the latest updates and announcements related to the exams. However, the Kerala Board Higher Secondary and vocational Theory exams were concluded on 26th April 2021.
The official notification read, “Kerala higher secondary, vocational higher secondary theory exams were concluded on April 26, 2021. Practical examinations were scheduled to be held from April 28. However, in view of the current situation, the higher secondary and vocational higher secondary practical exams are being put off for now. Revised dates will be issued later.”
Owing to this pandemic situation, CBSE and ICSE boards have also cancelled Class 10th exams and postponed Class 12th exams. Several state boards have also postponed or cancelled the examinations.
