MHT CET 2021: Institutional level B.Tech Counselling 2020-21 round to commence on 5th February

Highlights on MHT CET 2021 B.Tech Counselling:
Maharashtra state CET cell will be conducting the B.Tech counselling 2020-21 at the institutional level on 5th February. Also, the cut-off date for all types of admissions for the academic year 2021-22 will be declared on 5th February 2021.
Mumbai:
On 5th February 2021, Maharashtra State CET Cell will be conducting the MHT CET B.tech counselling 2020-21 at the institutional level. Usually, three CAP rounds are held but one round was cancelled this year. Thus, only two CAP rounds will be conducted by the authorities this year.
Also, the authorities will be releasing the cut-off date for all types of admissions for the academic year 2021-22 on 5th February 2021. The colleges also need to upload the information of students that took admission up to 6th February 2021.
For admission into the B.Tech courses, the MHT CET 2020 counselling is a centralized counselling process (CAP) and the allotment of the seats is on the basis of merit and candidate’s preference. The first CAP round was held on 20th January 2021 while the second round on 31st January 2021.
For the purpose of MHT CET B.Tech Counselling 2020-21 candidates shall require the following documents:
- Mark Sheet and certificate of Class 11 & 12
- Character certificate
- Migration Certificate
- School Leaving Certificate
- Eligibility Certificate (if the candidate belongs to the economically weaker section)
- Domicile Certificate (if the candidate belongs to Maharashtra)
- Caste Certificate (if it is applicable or required)
