MP Board 2021: Class 10 Students to be promoted as per the CBSE Evaluation criteria

Highlights on MP Board Exams 2021:
MPBSE will promote the students of Class 10 as per the CBSE Evaluation norms. Earlier, the MP Board Class 10 exams were cancelled due to the COVID-19 surge and will now be given general promotion.
Mumbai: Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) will be evaluating the Class 10th students on the basis of the evaluation criteria followed by the CBSE. Earlier, the MP Board Class 10th board exams were cancelled due to the COVID-19 surge in the state.
However, the Class 12th exams were postponed. MPBSE is likely to decide on the Class 12th examinations 2021, soon. The exams have been postponed until June 2021 but it is expected that the MP Board will decide on conducting the Class 12th Exams once the situation normalizes.
The board stated that the mode of evaluation will be such that it will make things easier for the students and shall avoid any difficulties for them while seeking admissions out of the state. It also said the internal assessment criteria followed will be similar to that followed by CBSE.
As per the CBSE Evaluation Criteria, the marks of the students will be calculated by combining the performance in the practical examination and internal assessment. CBSE shall soon release a proper plan for the objective evaluation criteria to promote the Class 10 students.
