MP Board 2021: MPBSE postpones Class 10 and 12 practical exams amid the prevailing COVID-19 crisis

MPBSE has postponed the MP Board Class 10th and 12th practical exams due to the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation in the state.
Mumbai: Due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation in Madhya Pradesh, the MP government has announced a curfew in the state until 15th May 2021. Thus, MP Board Class 10th and 12th practical examinations have been postponed by the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) until further notice. The MP Board intimated the students about the postponement of practical exams through the official Twitter handle. It stated that due to the COVID-19 curfew in the state until 15th May, it has deferred the exams.
The MP Board shall soon announce the revised practical exam dates for Classes 10th and 12th. The board has postponed the practical exams to ensure the health and safety of students amid the increasing COVID-19 cases in the state.
The practical exams for MP Board Class 10th and 12th were scheduled to begin from 20th May 2021.
Previously, on 26th April, the Madhya Pradesh board had postponed the theory exams for Class 10th and 12th due to the COVID-19 surge. MP Board theory exams for Class 10th and 12th were scheduled to begin from 30th April and 1st May, respectively.
After reviewing the current COVID-19 situation in the state, MP Board is expected to announce further updates on 1st June 2021. The Board shall announce the new practical dates as well as theory exam dates for Class 10th and 12th later on.
