MP Board Exams 2021: MP Board has reduced the Board Exam Syllabus for Class 10 and 12 by 30%

MPBSE has proposed to reduce the syllabus of Class 10 and 12 Board Exams by 30%. Students can check the revised syllabus on the official website of the board. The decision came as a relief for the students and teachers and is welcomed by them. The MP State government may also decide to re-open the schools by 25th November 2020.
Mumbai: The MPBSE (Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education) has decided to reduce and revise the board exams syllabus for Class 10 and 12. The board took this decision due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation and the lockdown that followed after that. As per the recent updates, the Board has reduced the syllabus by 30% and will soon upload the revised syllabus on its official website mpbse.nic.in.
The decision to reduce syllabus for the upcoming Class 10 and 12 Board Exams has been welcomed by the students as well as teachers. MPBSE took this decision as a relief measure to lessen the burden of completing the broad syllabus in time for the 2021 Board Exams. Many educators were demanding some relief for Class 10 and 12 students as in the absence of regular schooling; students were under enormous mental pressure.
As per the reports, the chapters that are taught to students mainly in classes 9 and 11 will not be included in the revised syllabus for Class 10 and 12 MP Board Exams 2021. The MP State Government is also planning to reopen schools by the end of the month of November 2020. However, no official confirmation has been received to date.
Earlier, as per the media reports, the MP government was set to reopen the schools from 16th November 2020 but has now postponed it till 25th November 2020.
