Highlights on NEET 2020 Counselling:
The registrations for NEET UG Counselling 2020 have begun on the official website of MCC. The last date for registration is 14th December 2020. MCC will declare the results on 17th December 2020.
Mumbai: MCC (Medical Counseling Committee) has begun the registrations for the mop-up round of the NEET-UG Counselling 2020. Although MCC has not released any official notification regarding it the registration link has been activated on the official website. The mop-up round is being held to fill the remaining vacant seats in AIIMS, JIPMER, ESIC institutes and deemed/central universities.
The candidates need to register at the official website of MCC. The last date for the registration and payment of fee is 14th December 2020 till 7 PM. However, the candidates can fill their course preference and colleges choice till 11:59 PM on 14th December 2020.
For registering the candidates will have to visit the official website of MCC www.mcc.nic.in/UGcounseling and click on the “new registration” link. They need to fill in their personal details along with the NEET details such as NEET roll number and registration number. After this, they will be required to pay the NEET counselling fee in online mode. Later, they can fill their course preference and the college choices and lock them.
However, the candidates who had earlier registered for the round one and two of NEET-UG Counselling but were not allotted any seat do not need to register again for the mop-up round. Also, the candidates who had registered in round one and two but had opted for free exit need not register again.
But the candidates who were allotted a seat in the second round cannot opt for up-gradation in the mop-up round of counselling. The NEET Counselling 2020 was concluded on 8th December after two rounds for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats.
Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) will conduct the process of allotting the seat post completion of the registration process. The result for NEET-UG counselling mop-up round will be announced on 17th December 2020 on the official website of MCC. Following this, the candidates who shall be allotted seats will need to report to the college allotted between 18th to 26th December 2020.
