On 17th November 2020, the Allahabad High Court has issued notice to the NTA over the declaration of NEET 2020 results. NTA declared the results on 16th October 2020. The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court has issued notice to NTA as the agency declared the results before deciding on the objections raised on a couple of questions by the petitioners.

Mumbai: On 17th November 2020, the Allahabad High Court has issued a notice to NTA (National Testing Agency) over the declaration of the NEET 2020 results. The notice was issued by the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court as the NTA declared the results without taking any decision on the objections raised on a couple of questions in the exams.

The results for the NEET 2020 which is an entrance exam for medical courses offered by the medical colleges in India, was declared on 16th October 2020.

A writ petition was filed by Saliha Khan in the Allahabad High Court stating that the NEET 2020 results were declared without deciding on the objections raised by them. It is important to note here that NEET (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test) was conducted in September 2020 and objections to questions were invited over a notice on 27th September.

The Bench of Justice Rajnish Kumar at Allahabad High Court has issued the notice on the writ petition. The next hearing into the petition will be held on 23rd November.

The petitioners have deposited the required amount of fee and have also submitted the objection raised by them over two questions asked in the examinations in response to the notice. They said that NTA announced the results on 16th October 2020 without resolving the objections raised by them over a couple of questions.
