NEET 2021: Application window closes on 10 August, Exam on 12 September

Highlights on NEET 2021:

NTA shall close the application window on 10th August 2021 for NEET 2021. The exam is scheduled to be held on 12th September 2021.

Mumbai: The application window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 shall close on 10th August. The candidates who wish to appear for the NEET 2021 exams are required to fill the application forms on the official website. The forms can be filled before 9:30 pm. However, the application fee can be paid until 11:50 pm.

NEET 2021 is scheduled to be held on 12th September 2021 in pen and paper mode. It is an exam for admission to undergraduate medical, dental and BSc nursing courses across the country.

For registering for the NEET 2021 exams, candidates need to visit the official website of NEET. On the home page, they need to click on the link ‘Fill registration form’. They will now be required to fill in the details such as name, mother’s name, and father’s name as mentioned in the Class 12 application. They also need to create a password as per the instructions mentioned.

After the candidates enter the asked details and password, a provisional application number will be generated for NEET 2021 login. The candidates now need to fill in the remaining personal, academic, contact details, exam centre, and dress code details and also upload all the scanned images of passport and postcard size photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression as required by NTA. Lastly, they need to pay the application fee to complete the registration process.

The application fee for General/OBC candidates is Rs 1500, for General-EWS/ OBC-NCL is Rs 1400 and is Rs 800 for SC/ST/PH candidates.

The correction window for NEET-UG shall remain open from 11th to 14th August until 2 pm. The candidates can edit the details filled in by them during this time.
