NEET Counselling 2020: Reporting Date for Shortlisted Candidates Extended by MCC

The Medical Counselling Committee has extended the reporting date for the shortlisted candidates to 16th November.
Highlights on NEET Counselling 2020:
Mumbai: The reporting date for shortlisted candidates under the All India Quota has been extended to 16th November by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The counselling at the allotted colleges was earlier extended until 14th November but an extension of 2 more days has now been added on account of Diwali. The additional time should ensure sufficient time for the students.
The official notification issued by MCC read, “This is for information to all the Candidates and the Participating colleges that the date for reporting/admission for Round-1 of UG Counselling 2020 at the allotted colleges has been extended till 02:00 PM of 16th November 2020 on account of Deepawali on 14th Nov 2020.”
The results for the first round were announced on 6th November and once the process is completed on 16th, the next round will commence from 18th November. The candidates will have time from 19th November to 22nd November to lock their choices. The results for round 2 will be announced on 25th November. The students who are allotted the seats in round 2 will have to report before 5th December.
Candidates can visit the mcc.nic.in the site and download their seat-allotment number. The following steps can be followed:
- Step 1 – Visit the official website: mcc.nic.in/UGCounselling
- Step 2 – On the Homepage, click on the link that says, ‘Allotment Letter Round 1’ present on the left panel on your screen.
- Step 3 – Enter all the details.
- Step 4 – Now you can download your seat allotment letter.
