NEET PG 2021: Exams postponed until next date is announced

Highlights on NEET PG 2021:
The government of India has postponed the NEET G 2021 Exams until a new date is announced. Earlier, the NEET PG 2021 exam was scheduled to be held on 18th April.
Mumbai: NEET-PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate) 2021 exam has been postponed after the continuous demands of the candidates to postpone the exams owing to the second wave of coronavirus and the rising cases.
Health Minister, Harsh Vardhan, tweeted, “GoI has decided to postpone #NEETPG2021 exam which was earlier scheduled to be held on Apr 18 Next date to be decided later.”
In another tweet, the health minister, said, “Also, the notification has been released stating that the NEET PG notice will be issued before conducting the examination and the minister’s letter on April 13, 2021, stands withdrawn.”
NEET PG 2021, a computer-based entrance exam was to be conducted on 18th April 2021. Also, the NEET PG 2021 Admit card had been released on 13th April.
The NEET PG candidates are thanking the government for postponing the NEET PG 2021 Exam. A candidate tweeted that it’s good to see that the government is concerned for the well-being of people.
However, amongst many tweets of the candidates welcoming the government’s decision to postpone the exam, a candidate also requested not to postpone the exams as he had booked flight tickets to other states site for appearing in the exam.
NEET PG exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions from pre-clinical, clinical and para-clinical subjects. As per the exam pattern, the candidates get four marks for every correct answer while for every wrong answer one mark gets deducted. This year, through NEET PG 2021 scores, admission will be granted for 12,690 (MS), 24,360 (MD), and 922 PG Diploma seats.
