The Directorate of Medical Education, Tamil Nadu has officially declared the merit list for the Tamil Nadu NEET 2020 for admission to MBBS and BDS Courses offered by the medical colleges. C Vijayabaskar, Tamil Nadu State Health Minister, has confirmed the release on his official Twitter handle. 7.5% of the total seats of Tamil Nadu NEET 2020 are reserved for the students of Government schools.
Mumbai: DME (Directorate of Medical Education), Tamil Nadu has officially announced the merit list for the Tamil Nadu NEET 2020 for admission to MBBS and BDS Courses. The qualified candidates can now check the merit list on the official website.
C Vijayabaskar, Tamil Nadu State Health Minister, has confirmed the release of the NEET 2020 Merit List for the Tamil Nadu State through a tweet. The tweet from his official Twitter handle says, “The rank list for the TN #Medicalcounselling is published.
As committed by Hon’ble CM, the list includes the 7.5 per cent reservation for govt school students. The counselling will commence from 18th Nov at Nehru Indoor Stadium w/ social distancing norms. My best wishes! @CMOTamilNadu.”
As per the latest order passed by the Tamil Nadu government, 7.5% of the total medical seats under Tamil Nadu State Quota for NEET 2020 are reserve for the students of government schools. In order to avail the benefit and qualify for this quota, a student must have studied in the government school from Class 6 to 12.
The candidates can check the merit list by visiting the official website of Tamil Nadu government. After this click on the Merit list Tab. A PDF file with the name of the qualified aspirant will appear. The candidate can download and save the file.
