Mumbai, Maharashtra: TSBIE or the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education has announced an extension of the last date for fee payment for the Intermediate exams 2019-20. Earlier, candidates were expected to pay the fees on or before December 17, 2019. According to the latest update, candidates can now pay the fees on or before December 30, 2019, with a late fee.
The late fee structure is different for private and regular students. While the regular students are required to pay a late fee of Rs.3000, the late fee for private candidates is Rs.1200. The Board has extended this window to allow candidates who have missed to application window to submit one with the added late fee.
The Telangana Board conducts a two-year intermediate course for students who have cleared the Class 10 exams either through ICSE, CBSE, or SSC Boards.
The Telangana State Intermediate Public Examinations start on March 4, 2020, for the first-year students and March 5, 2020, for second-year students. The ‘Ethics and Human Values’ exam will be conducted on January 28, 2020, from 10 am to 1 pm and the ‘Environmental Education’ exam will be conducted on January 30, 2020, from 10 am to 1 pm. Further, the practical exams for both General and Vocational Courses will be conducted from February 1, 2020, to February 20, 2020. The Telangana Board is yet to release the timetable for the Intermediate Vocational Course Examinations.
This is the last opportunity for students to pay the fees to their respective colleges to appear for the intermediate exams next year.
