Highlights on Tripura Board 2021:
After reviewing the results TBSE has declared 99% of students pass Class 10 and 12. Earlier, 80.62% of candidates of Class 10 and 95.20% of candidates of Class 12 were declared pass.
Mumbai: TBSE had declared Class 10th and 12th results two weeks ago. It had declared 80.62% of candidates passed in the Madhyamik (Class 10) examination and 95.20% candidates in the higher secondary result (class 12).
The results were declared by the TBSE on the basis of the evaluation criteria that was given by an expert committee of 10 members. The evaluation criteria were based on the performance of students in the previous class exam and the assessment report for each of the candidates given by their respective schools.
However, many students were not satisfied with the results and many discrepancies were found in the marking system. Amidst the protest by the students, Tripura Board decided to review the results declared. After review, the results were declared today wherein nearly 99% of students cleared Class 10th and 12th exams.
TBSE president, Bhavatosh Saha said, “Almost all candidates of Madhyamik and Higher Secondary will be promoted. The decision has been taken after reviewing the results and keeping in mind the students’ protest and other aspects. “We requested teachers from all eight districts to recheck their evaluated marks. During this exercise, a few discrepancies were found.”
The students who have cleared the exams but are still dissatisfied with their results can apply for a separate exam by 23rd August 2021. These exams will be conducted in the month of September.
