Mumbai, Maharashtra: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), has declared the results for the Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2019. Candidates can download the results by clicking visiting the official website. According to the results, 32 candidates have been selected for the Indian Economic Service and 32 have been selected for the Indian Statistical Service. Candidates can download their individual marks within 15 days from the date of declaration of the result.
The UPSC IES/ISS Examination, 2019 was held from June 28, 2019, to June 30, 2019, for 32 vacancies in the IES (including 14 from the General Category, 3 from EWS, 8 from OBC, 5 from SC, and 2 from ST) and 33 vacancies in the ISS (including 14 from the General Category, 3-EWS, 9-OBC, 5-SC, and 2-ST). Selected candidates were put through Personal Interviews in December 2019 and January 2020 before the final results were declared.
Of the selected candidates, six candidates are provisionally selected in the Indian Economic Service and 11 candidates are provisionally selected in the Indian Statistical Service. These candidates will not receive an offer of appointment until UPSC verifies the original documents and clears the provisional status. Provisional candidates are required to submit the necessary documents within three months from the date of declaration of the final result. If the candidates fail to do so, then their candidature will be canceled.
UPSC has also opened a Facilitation Center near the Examination Hall to help offer information and clarification to candidates. This Center is open on all working days between 10 am and 5 pm. Candidates can also call the UPSC helpline at 011-23385271 / 23381125.
