Mumbai, Maharashtra: The Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has announced the dates for UPSEE 2020 exam (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam). The applicants who wish to appear for the UPSEE exam 2020 can check the official website i.e. upsee.nic.in to check the dates. The UPSEE 2020 exam will be conducted on 10th May 2020.
According to the exam schedule released by the university, the online information brochure of the same will be launched in the month of January 2020. Besides, compared from last year, this year, the UPSEE 2020 exam is being held a little late. In the last session, the exams are conducted on 21st April 2019.
The candidates who seek admission in B.Tech courses in any of the participating colleges and institutes of AKTU have to qualify the UPSEE Examination 2020. Besides, the UPSEE exam will be conducted in offline mode. The duration of the paper will be for three hours. In addition, the paper will be of multiple-choice questions from Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
The applicants who qualify for the UPSEE 2020 will be called for counseling and admission procedure which will be through online mode. After that, the candidates that get selected will be allotted seats according to their marks in the UPSEE. In addition, the result for the exam will be announced in June through online mode.
Eligibility for UPSEE Exam 2020
The specific conditions which applicants have to fulfill to be considered for the admission process are:
Only students who have passed or are appearing for class 12 examination can apply for UPSEE.
The students who have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in total (40% for ST/SC candidates) in class 12 can apply. Besides, the candidates having a diploma in Engineering and Technology must have a minimum of 45% marks.
The candidates must be from PCM (Physics, chemistry, and Mathematics) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) stream.
