Mumbai: The evaluation criteria for Class 10 and 12 has been released by the West Bengal Board on the official website. Due to the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation in the state, the West Bengal government had cancelled the Madhyamik and HS board examinations on 7th June 2021.
The WB board has now released the evaluation criteria. The students can predict their marks on this basis.
The evaluation of the results for Class 12 is based on 40% weightage to the best of four subjects in the Class 10 Madhyamik exam held in 2019 and 60% weightage to the annual Class 11 theory exam held in 2020.
The marking for the Class 12 project or practical exams will be separate. Non-lab-based subjects will be marked out of 20 while lab-based subjects will be marked out of 30.
The evaluation criteria for Class 10 students will include 50 % marks of Class 9 average marks and 50 % marks for Class 10 formative assessment.
West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has instructed the schools to submit the Class 10 Madhyamik scores by 23rd June 23 because that exam is conducted by a different board.
