Force and Laws of Motion

Take a ball and slide it across the floor. Can you see it keeps sliding? Does the ball at any point stop? If so, when? The ball rolled on the floor will keep sliding unless stopped by you. Now keep the ball stationary, does it remain that way? It does, isn’t it? Why does this happen? Is it governed by certain laws of motion?

The above-mentioned activity is an application of Newton’s first law of motion. But what does it state and what are the other laws? Let us study more about the force and laws in-depth.
