4.2. How do new laws come about? – This section explains how new laws are made and old law are amended. For passing a new law a bill is presented in the Parliament of India. 4.3. Unpopular and controversial laws- In this section, the reason for controversially and unpopularity law is discussed. Because sometimes it happens that the public thinks that the government has unnecessarily imposed the law on them.

1. Criminal Law- For crimes like murder, Threats, etc.
2. Civil Law- For disputes and non-criminal matter etc.
3. Common-Law- For having legal right over partner’s property etc.
4. Statutory Law- For breaking common law, like without helmet driving, over speeding, etc.
