Male organs form sperm even at the old age but generally, the formation of the ovum in females ceases at the age of around fifty years.
3.1 The Male Reproductive System:
In this topic, we shall study the male reproductive organs such as testes, accessory ducts, glands, and external genitalia.
3.2 The Female Reproductive System:
In this topic, we shall study the female reproductive system which consists of ovaries, oviducts, uterus, cervix, vagina mammary glands and the external genitalia located in the pelvic region.
3.3 Gametogenesis:
In this topic, we shall study the process of gametogenesis, spermiation, the structure of sperm, and ovulation.
3.4 Menstrual Cycle:
In this topic, we shall study the menstrual or the reproductive cycle in women and also the Menopause in women.
3.5 Fertilisation and Implantation:
In this topic, we shall study the fusion of a sperm with an ovum which is known as fertilization. We shall also learn the process of implantation which leads to pregnancy.
