1.1: Introduction to Human Eye Structure
In the initial phase of this chapter, the basic introduction about the human eye is given to students. A special diagram of the human eye is also given to make clarity in mind. Various parts of a human eye are pointed with the help of the diagram. Moreover, all the parts have their respective functions too.
1.2: Defects of VisionÂ
There are various types of eye defects depending upon defects in the range of eyesight. Whenever a human is unable to see distant objects or things, such disease is ‘Myopia’. On the other hand, when a person is unable to see near objects clearly then it is ‘hypermetropia’.
1.3: Refraction of Light through a Prism
In this part of the chapter, students will move forward from the refraction of light from a normal horizontal glass pane to refraction of light through a prism. Along with that, students will learn about the incident ray, emergent ray, etc.
1.4: Scattering of Light
At the end of the chapter, the scattering of light is discussed. Under this topic, various sub-topics like Tyndall Effect, Colour of Sky, Colour of Sky at Sunrise and Sunset, etc.
