4.2: SCALARS AND VECTORS:
In physics, we can categorize quantities as scalars or vectors. A vector quantity is having both magnitude and direction.
4.2.1: Position and Displacement Vectors:
Position and displacement both are the vector quantities.
4.2.2: Equality of Vectors:
Two vectors may be equal. It is possible when their magnitude and direction both are same.
4.3: MULTIPLICATION OF VECTORS BY REAL NUMBERS:
Multiplication of a vector by a real number will increase its magnitude without changing its direction.
4.4: ADDITION AND SUBTRACTION OF VECTORS — GRAPHICAL METHOD:
The student will learn the methods two add and subtract two vectors by using the graphical method. Vectors will follow the law of parallelogram.
