Introduction

1.1: Gopal’s Story
A brilliantly described imaginative story of Gopal portrays how a child without any idea of seeds come to know about one of the most important characteristics of seeds. He went to his relatives and soaked a bowl of chana. In the morning, he finds the chanas coming out of the bowl because of the water-absorbing feature of seeds.
1.2: Practical Activities related to Seeds
The chapter not only provides the best of theoretical knowledge about seeds but along with that, it helps the students to know about the practical application of the seeds in day to day life. There are a series of activities in the chapter along with the observation tables, which will help the students to understand seeds in a better way.
1.3: Wandering of Seeds
