In this, you will study about diversity in the living world which is the occurrence of a variety of life forms differing in morphology, size, colour, anatomy, habitats, and habits, their identification which is the finding of correct name and place and place of an organism in a system of classification, nomenclature is the process of standardizing naming of living organism, classification which is the process by which anything is grouped into convenient categories based on some easily observable characteristics.

In this, you will study about taxonomy which is process of classification on the basis of external and internal structure along with internal structure of cell, development process and ecological information, taxonomic categories which is a rank or level in the hierarchical classification of organism which is kingdom all plants are included in the kingdom Plantae while all animals belong to kingdom animalia., division/phylum are formed of one or more class, class is made of one or more related orders, order includes one or more related families, family contains one or more related genera, genus is a group of related species which resemble one another in certain correlated characters, species are the natural population of individuals or a group of population which resemble one another.
1.4 – Taxonomical Aids
In this, you will study about taxonomical aids in which techniques, procedures and stored information that are useful in identification and classification of organisms, herbarium is a place where dried and pressed plants specimens, mounted on sheets are kept systematically,  botanical garden are specialized gardens having a collection of living plants, in biological museum specimens are preserved in the containers or jars in preservative solutions, zoological parks in which wild animals are kept in protected environments under human care.
