Welcome Speech for College Function

Good Morning Principal, Vice Principal, adored Teachers and precious Students. I am here to present a Welcome speech for College Function. A warm welcome to every one of you to the 25th annual function of our college. On behalf of our college, I am Saloni Jain from MBA (marketing management) program final year. I am feeling extremely honored to be standing in front of you all and welcoming everyone in this grand celebration. The day is mainly special because of the successful completion of 25 years of our college. In this long span of 25 years, the celebrity of our college has extremely developed.

The college was found with an observation to provide excellent learning opportunities to the students and a great platform to showcase their skills. Start with a few institution courses, our college has gone on to provide post-graduation as well as Ph.D. courses.

This is exact fairly an accomplishment for our college and we are also well-known for our well-equipped research centers. Every year we also celebrate research scholars’ day. Where we invite research scholars and share the knowledge that benefits everyone.

Other than educational achievements, we also appreciate development in the field of sports, arts, and culture. What I like the most about my college is that it gives equal importance to every regulation. So that students have the opportunity to achieve the overall development of their personality.

In today’s annual function our students will try to put their best foot forward. The arrangements have been going on from the previous two months. I hope all my friends shine through in their performances and give our audience and our special guest today a high dose of entertainment.

Starting the Program

Ahead of we start today’s program, please allow me to share the schedule of today’s annual function, i.e. to start with our Hon’ble principal will grace the stage by felicitating our guest of honor followed by a speech ceremony. Then we will follow the performances of the students, which are a mix of dance performances, singing performances, etc.

of concluding the day, we would also request our guest of honor to say a few words to our students and give away awards to the candidates who have brought accolades and beauty to our college in various disciplines. As well, I would also like to request the head of the sociology department to share her knowledge of women’s healthcare programs and the beneficial opportunities presented to them in different sectors. It would be very helpful for our female audience who can greatly benefit from the speech.

Achievement in Sports

In our college sports are integral as well as a necessary part of our lives. It contributes not only to fitness but helps also in the personality development of an individual. Participation in sports can help build self-esteem, confidence, etc. It also improves concentration.

So with this purpose, our college organizes a separate function for sports called annual sports. Every year 100 percent participation is encouraged and each participant is rewarded. This year our college has been declared as one of the best institutions in sports activities.

Conclusion of the Program

In the ending, I just would wish to say that may everybody enjoy today’s program. And I hope takes back some wonderful memories. Now, I would request our Principal to kindly come on stage and say a few words in this regard. Friends, this is all from my side hope you all will have a great time.
