Abel Prize: This is awarded annually by the Norwegian Government to one or many outstanding Mathematician. The Abel Prize is the equivalent of The Nobel Prize in Science and other fields.

The Ake Blomstrom Award (ABA): This award was established in 1986 in honour of Ake Blomstrom. It is awarded for the best radio documentary.

Arts For Peace Awards: Arts for peace is a non-governmental organisation that awards this award once every year.

Aurora Prize For Awakening Humanity: This award is for courage, commitment to a humanitarian cause and impact on the world.
